Marc, sorry for late response, I have been extremely busy with school lately. Thank you for the update about the magazine, I am really excited that you will be including reviews of Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: Operation: Raccoon City. Also, I want to tell you that I think you did a really great job designing the Support Outbreak pages. All of our members are so happy, we are all looking forward to seeing the finished magazine.

I want to wish you and everyone else on Resident Evil Zone a Merry Christmas. As this year draws to a close, I hope everyone is excited about what our campaign can accomplish in 2012. If our spirit of teamwork continues, it is very possible that next year we will reach our petition goal of 10,000 signatures. In addition, we have our Support Outbreak Youtube page which continues to rally supporters to our forum and petition.

My friends, there are so many reasons to be optimistic. Our enthusiasm is contagious, Capcom is bound to notice how passionate we are about wanting Resident Evil Outbreak revived.

The Support Outbreak Campaign is still going strong. Our members continue to voice our support for the Outbreak series on the Capcom forums.

As I have mentioned, in the "Ask Capcom" section of the Capcom-Unity forums, a head Capcom administrator listed the Resident Evil Outbreak series as one of the most popular fan requested series.

We are making progress, my friends. Keep the hope alive!

I have some interesting news to share. Our Support Outbreak video on Youtube has reached a new milestone of over 25,000 views. Fellow Support Outbreak member - RossForOutbreak created the video. It features the amazing Resident Evil Outbreak opening soundtrack along with our Support Outbreak Campaign image. All of our team members have really done an outstanding job spreading the word about this video. My friends, I want to share with you another way that you can show your support for the Resident Evil Outbreak series.

Capcom has a suggestion box, it is a place where fans gather to vote on recommendations about changes Capcom should consider. Our suggestion, which was written by senior Resident Evil Outbreak supporter Scott, is called,"Resident Evil Outbreak File 1 & 2 ported to XBL and PSN (even WII if possible.)" Thousands of loyal Outbreak fans have voted and made this topic the most popular on the Capcom suggestion box. In fact, our recommendation has topped the charts at number one in votes for years.

The suggestion says: "Resident Evil Outbreak File 1 & 2 ported to XBL and PSN (even WII if possible) with the glitches and lag fixed. Release as a digital game or physical whichever is cheaper for you guys! and with the game online!" Then when you are on the Capcom suggestion box screen, log into your Capcom account and click on the tab "By Votes." Select our recommendation and vote for it.

Capcom has a great reputation for listening to its fans. In many cases, fan feedback has gone a long way in helping Capcom decide which direction to take its game series. All Outbreak supporters are united in our belief that Capcom will hear us and agree that the Outbreak series deserves a second chance on modern consoles.

Hello everybody! I have some interesting news to share...

On June 7th Capcom hosted an "Ask Capcom" event in which Capcom employees answered fan questions. When asked for information about Resident Evil Outbreak, Capcom employee Seth Killian said the following:

"Resident Evil Outbreak I know gets brought up all the time. Some day we will have a crazy story to share with you about just exactly the lengths to which we went to try and serve that community. But unfortunately its not a story I can share right now, so its another crummy teaser. But some day I'll tell you, its almost heart-warming for a zombie mmo [massively multiplayer online game] experience." http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pla…d&v=esG2DVjdRBU

It is important to note that Sven made a nearly identical comment over a year ago, saying: "There have been some extrodinary lengths some folks internally have gone to try and help those Outbreak stalwarts that unfortunately didn't come good.Unfortunately, I can't talk about those things but just know there are people internally, especially in our office, supporting your desires." http://www.capcom-unity.com/ask_capcom/g…36213#495136213

So what do you guys think about this? In my opinion, I would like to hear this story. It would be interesting to hear how Capcom planned to make Outbreak fans happy. But unfortunately it sounds as though their good intentions and efforts were unsuccessful. Maybe Capcom will make another attempt to bring back Outbreak.
